Privacy Policy

How information is collected and used when you visit this site or get in touch. In short: there are no forms, analytics, or tracking, and we use what you send us only to reply and to schedule calls.
Who we are
This website, danielklapper.com (the “Site”), is operated by Daniel J. Klapper (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit the Site or contact us, how it is used, and the choices you have. Questions can be sent to dklapper@foxchester.com.
Information we collect
Information you give us. The Site has no forms or accounts. If you email us or book a call, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, company, and anything you write about your needs.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site’s hosting provider records basic technical information when pages are requested, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time. This is used to deliver the Site and keep it secure.
No analytics or advertising tracking. The Site does not use analytics tools, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies, and does not build profiles of visitors.
Third-party services
The Site relies on a small number of service providers, each of which handles information under its own privacy policy:
- Netlify hosts the Site and processes the technical request information described above.
- Google Fonts supplies the typeface used on the Site. When a page loads, your browser requests font files from Google, which receives your IP address. Google states that the Google Fonts API does not set cookies.
- Microsoft Bookings handles scheduling. When you click “Book a 15-min call,” you leave the Site for a Microsoft page, and the details you enter there are collected by Microsoft and shared with us so we can hold the meeting.
- Email you send us is processed by our email provider.
- LinkedIn and Fox & Chester links take you to other websites, which have their own privacy practices.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries and schedule and hold calls.
- To provide any services you engage us for, under a separate agreement.
- To operate, maintain, and secure the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with the service providers listed above as needed to run the Site and communicate with you; with Langer Law Group or other professionals if you ask to be connected with them; when required by law; or in connection with a business transfer.
Retention
We keep correspondence and scheduling information for as long as needed to respond to you, maintain our business relationship, and meet legal or professional record-keeping obligations. Hosting logs are retained by Netlify according to its own policies.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email dklapper@foxchester.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Security
The Site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send highly sensitive information by email.
Children
The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
